Individual therapy, online

$165 per 50-minute session

For people located anywhere in Florida, New York, and Indiana.

Below are options for payment you can consider:

Self-pay/out-of-pocket: This supports us in doing what’s best for your needs, rather than what your insurance company dictates. Benefits of self-pay for therapy include scheduling appointments at the frequency that is right for you, no session limits, no risk of losing coverage, and avoiding insurers’ requirements to assign a diagnosis as well as avoiding their requests for session notes that become part of your permanent healthcare records and can weaken confidentiality.

Out-of-network (OON)*: I can provide “superbills” that you can submit to your insurance/FSA/HSA when seeking out-of-network reimbursement, or you can use my claim submission service, Mentaya, to take care of that for you. Please note, OON reimbursement requires a covered diagnosis to be identified for the insurer’s records, and insurers will still have the right to request your session records.

I am a registered OON provider for Florida Blue and UHC.

Autism & ADHD assessments, online

My fees for assessments are based on the costs of materials/services used and my usual rates. You can choose “a la carte” what components you will find useful, and you may consult with me to help you choose your best options as we go along.

You are welcome to request assessment for Autism, ADHD, or both.

What is Included? What Does it Cost? Can I use Insurance?

This is a self-pay process, but I can provide a superbill if you want to use your insurance to help cover costs, if applicable. Below are the fees for various components of the assessments, to help you estimate the cost:

Interviews and records reviews

  • $200 per hour (billed by the quarter-hour)

    • Autism: MIGDAS-2 (generally 3-4 hours - effort will be made to balance efficiency and accuracy)

    • ADHD: DIVA-5 (generally 1-2 hours - effort will be made to balance efficiency and accuracy)

    • Review of records or interviews with collateral informants and similar data collection are also billed at this rate

Self-report assessments

  • $5 per assessment administered via NovoPsych (these result in an interpretive report you will receive)

    • Autism (4 assessments): CAT-Q, RAADS-R, AQ, CATI

    • ADHD (2 assessments): ASRS, ESQ-R

  • Other assessments may be considered if needed to rule out other diagnoses, with separate fees

Letters/reports

  • $35 for first page and $25 for subsequent pages (I make an effort to balance thoroughness and brevity, based on your requests)

    • Confirmation of diagnosis/es met and/or ruled out (typically 1 page)

    • Full list of criteria met for confirmed diagnoses (estimate 1-2 pages)

    • Examples given for each criterion met (estimate 1-2 additional pages per diagnosis)

    • Details as to other diagnoses that are ruled out (estimate <1 page)

    • Recommendations for general accommodations such as for work/school (estimate 1-2 pages)

    • Elaboration/extended list of accommodations (1+ pages)

Follow-up appointments

  • $50 per 30 minutes, for a total of up to 90 minutes across 1-2 appointments - to discuss results, questions, recommendations, and next steps (for ongoing services, my wait-list and referral suggestions will be offered)

A deposit of $250 is due at the time of scheduling the first appointment, and the balance for additional services is due when each service is rendered, unless a payment plan is established in advance.
