Before You Reach Out
A few things worth knowing before using this list.
-
Report weight varies by credential. Some providers listed here are LCSWs or LMHCs, not licensed psychologists. Their reports are valid for many purposes, but may not be accepted for SSI/SSDI disability claims, some university accommodation offices, or workplaces that require a licensed psychologist's signature. Notes are included on this, where relevant.
-
Verify before committing. Telehealth availability, pricing, and provider capacity change frequently. Always confirm current openings and make sure the report format will meet your specific needs before paying.
-
Insurance can make a difference. Several providers here accept insurance in select states. Even one covered visit can greatly help with out-of-pocket cost. Always ask about insurance first.
