It’s getting harder to keep it together.
You used to manage okay, but anymore you can’t seem to keep up with the basic things in life. Your feelings are overwhelming and embarrassing, and sometimes you shut down entirely—nobody seems to be able to relate. On the worst days, you wonder if it’s all worth it.
Sometimes you think about how the challenges you’ve faced brought you here. Other times, you think you’re truly not enough, and deserve to struggle.
I believe things can get better for you, and that you deserve better.
Hi. My name is Stephani, and as an AuDHD practitioner, I understand the fears and doubts you have. I help other neurodivergent people overcome challenges like these, so they can feel confident and live a life that’s right for them.
I believe you have something special to offer in the world, and I want to help you believe in that, too. I’d love the chance to help you find confidence, self-compassion, hope, and the skills you need to live your best neurodivergent life.
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
-Howard Thurman
The first step is sometimes the hardest.
Here’s what you can expect.
Step 1: Visit my Booking page to learn about my current availability. Before starting therapy, we can answer any questions you have by email or in a free 20-minute video/phone call (email/call to request this). I especially like to learn what you hope therapy will feel like, and what you want to change in your life. You can decide if you like the feel of our interaction before we meet again.
Step 2: Our therapy sessions will be on a secure, HIPAA-compliant Google Meet video/audio call, with chat and captioning options. We’ll talk about what’s on your mind and how it fits into the bigger picture for you. We’ll uncover how your past is affecting you today, and we’ll practice helpful skills and perspectives to make things better. It’s all about following your needs, so we’ll adapt as we go.
Step 3: As therapy helps you, you can expect to find yourself enjoying life more. (It’s amazing how joy sneaks up on people as they heal!) You’ll feel energized and more “with it” day-to-day. You’ll get more confident about your ability to handle life’s ups and downs, and—maybe best of all—you’ll learn to love yourself through it all.
